Cherokee Chief Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Watched my two favorite teams go down in flames this week. Arkansas, then Oklahoma. Arkansas forgot to pack the team for the trip. Oklahoma was coached by a moron. The on side kick was one of the biggest bone hed plays I have seen in a long time. The mood here in Fayetteville is bad, at least we have a new coach on the way. How Kansas lost to Mizzou, who lost to Oklahoma, (twice), who lost to West Virgina, who lost to Pitt..................etc....................... stu Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I'm gonna sit back quietly and watch the Buckeyes take home another national title. Shoulda been Kansas and Ohio State for national championship anyway... a gift to LSU to fill the Superdome.... But there are several teams worthy of title.. Georgia, Kansas, West Viginia, Ohio State, USC, and LSU should they come out on top next Monday... Some great football from great teams in a wild year.... Would really like to see a playoff.... I thought at one point LSU was going to be untouchable and Ohio State was gonna be weak... I was wrong on both counts... I thought the Big Ten was in a down year.. but Michigan showed it wasn't so by beating a Florida team that took LSU to triple overtime.... Wisconsin played ok.. I couldn't believe WVU lost to Pitt... It's always a big rivalry but damn WVU is pretty damn good and Pitt sucks... I'm blaming Rod for that one.... Then USC.... they looked pretty damn good too but lost some they couldn't afford to lose... LSU.. looked so good then lost to 2 unranked... Ohio State... lost to Illinois... what a year... but ya gotta love college football... after Monday it's gonna be a long haul til the big dance.....what the hell we gonna do.... (excluding Fla. and Arkie) And I was surprised to see my DAWGS really kick some butt in the Sugah bowl my dear. I knew they would win, but not so dominating. Whew!!!
