Last Resort
Well, it would take you straight to Al's (AKA Furyous) house without changing freeways Also cuts time off of any trip to Big Bear / Crestline ans there are a few Iron Indians up there and loads of great riding. Last Resort
Plus you get to keep your speeds up going through Rialto and Fontucky. Makes it harder for them to aim.
maninbox
I used to enjoy detouring through Fontana and Muscoy but now, it's freeway all the way.

maninbox
I've been waiting forever for this to happen.Really, I have. I have been too. Really. I drive through there back and forth 30 or 40 times a year for the last 15 years or so. I have been taking this particular detour for about 7 years while this segment of highway was being built. Its not gonna seem real driving right through at freeway speeds. Now it'll be about 80 miles of freeway from my Los Angeles suburban house to the mountain resorts highway 330 exit and 26 miles of mountain twisties to my little mountain cabin in Big Bear. Once I get on the freeway, there is not a single stop sign all the way to my cabin door. The trip won't seem the same without having to detour through the heart of San Bernardino County. Tahoe Chief
My mom lived out in Fontana for twenty years. lives in Texas now go figure Fontana being such a nice place and all she had to move. Learned how to ride dirt bikes out in Jarupa hills back in the 70s what a change(can u say shit hole) Fontana has turned into.

Furyous
Might be time to have a BBQ at my house now that you guys can actually drive here without getting lost in Muscoy
