TallRider
After seeing "Ghost Riders In The Sky", that song has been in my head all the time. What bugs me is that I can't remember who released a recording of that song in the early 60s . . . Johnny Cash? Come on you music trivia buffs - help me out here. Don't remember it released in the 60s, but I am pretty sure the original is by Frankie Lane in the late 40s. Haddn't googled it up yet either. I remember the song well back then. Ok, googled and wikipedia'd. Cash covered it in '79. Duane Eddy did it in '66. Written in '48. The guy I thought isn't even listed even though over 50 people have covered it. Vaughn Monroe is probably who I was thinking about.

Pop
First off Tallrider, the matter of bein cured. Pop reserves judgement pending independent conformation. V62, yer old, that's all. None a this here them young, us old shit. We just old. As far as the 60's go, I believe the proper response is "I wuz too young to remember anything before 1960 and too hammered to remember anything after". I hope this clarifies these items. I'm up heah back in the thicket with my BAR jus tryin make the world a better place.
