tdslbs
Looks pretty close to what Branscomb Richmond was building NO! NO! NO! This was JW's Idea. He would never copy anyone's design and put his label on it.
Blackhorse
I think that pic was taken in Arizona. When I visited Braveheart a couple years ago I saw some of those trikes at the Phoenix dealership... (You notice that Branscombe also had an "Indian-like" logo on his products. That logo morphed into the "American Indian" brand, which I saw on some ATVs at Sturgis two years ago, now I believe he is focused on the "American 1902" brand...) Hunters Friend
NO! NO! NO! This was JW's Idea. He would never copy anyone's design and put his label on it. Ya know, even though all of us are thinking this, it is pretty poor taste to post this. No need to rehas 2 years of this shit. Let it go. If we're all thinking it maybe the poor taste was in posting the pics... The rehash started with the pics Mike... Maybe Tony is tired of it... maybe more people are tired of it.. maybe there needs to be more expression by the people tired of it... Maybe Tony is tired of it... maybe more people are tired of it.. maybe there needs to be more expression by the people tired of it... I understand what you are saying. Hell people with no affiliation to this board understand this. It does not change the fact that John will put out whatever copycat design he wishes and call it his own. Nothing you, I, or anyone else can do will change one single thing about it. Which brings it back to the point where it would almost be easier to just ignore the post altogether than to rehash it to death.

That my friend is a good point... but sometimes you ignore so much and bam... ya reached your limit.... Tony doesn't post much.... my guess is ..... he seen enough.... aikenscout
I would ponder a guess, that if ya took a Chief, made it a trike with Chief fenders, they probably will all "look alike". Just a guess though.
Last Resort
But what if you do it to a Scout? Here are a few more Chief Trikes And now for something really different ....

Hunters Friend
See and there you go again Sarrail. You are posting inflamatory images again. You are claiming this is Bruce's Indian trike When in fact it is John's Crazy Horse trike that Bruce ripped the ideas off of. Please quit trying to confuse those of us who have NO idea what the hell is what. Edited February 2, 2007 by Hunters Friend
Last Resort
I guess Bruce's bike is really a frike
KC Cheef
tdslbs. Are you saying trikes were an original Branscombe Richmond idea? WOW--I thought they'd been around in different configurations since like--well from near the beginning. Damn--I do agree with you all--BRs are nice looking rides also. Whatever became of them? Was he developing them for Indian? If he was not developing them for Indian--would you consider them to be a copycat design? You all continue to amuse me. We find someone who is actually interested in the bastard stepchild of a motorcycle we're riding around, and you continue to belittle and attack him for it. Pardon my blashpemy--but well the truth hurts. No one out there seeming to give too much of a damn about the old Gilroy rides is there? Save the BIG 3 argument--doesn't make a whole lot of sense here. YES--they always have and continue to support our rides--but when the parts are gone--they are pretty much gone. One thing you'll have to admit though? All this bantering and bickering back and forth has led to some good. Seems like a lot of folks on here who were blindly following the herd and criticising and questioning John are now at least looking at what he's doing. Looks like some folks are actually going so far as to question the exhalted new owners of IMC. Hey Mike K. One thing that will be interesting to see in Branson this year? Lets take a look at who shows up with some ideas and support for the bikes we ride. You reckon it will be that John White dude who would dare offer some support and help? Or will it be the saviour from across the big water who couldn't be bothered last year to even send a minion to pacify us. I can't wait for IIROCRIP this year. I truly hope the rumors are true and Stellican does show up. Lot of questions a lot of people will be interested in hearing the answers to. I guess Bruce's bike is really a frike NOOooo--I'm thinking it's a Voyager Conversion. Might ask Bruce about that though. Hey Kuegler--start off really slowly one more time. You can leave your shoes on for this one. 3 wheels=trike. 4 wheels = Voyager Conversion kit. Go slow and no cheating--how many wheels are ther on Bruces bike?
