TallRider
On September 15th, the company that I work for will sponsor it's annual "Day of Sharing" providing any and every employee with a paid day off to contribute their time to local charities and services. Myself and other employees of the Seattle office will contribute our time to Northwest Harvest, others will contribute their time to a local burn center. While this was originally the result of "9/11" (our Marine Home Office was on the 48th floor of 2WTC yet we did not lose one employee), it's a continued reminder that those of us who are fortunate enough to have a home, be employed, and put food on our table - let alone be Iron Indian Riders - can contribute to those less fortunate. I applaud Kevin and the others who have made offers of employment and housing to victims of Katrina as every contribution DOES make a difference, whether one is a victim of a natural disaster in the Delta or of circumstance in one's own neighborhood. There, but for the grace of god, go I . . .
