DickDanger
We are at $2.63 on Boise, $3.20 for diesel. These gas prices are absolutely ridiculous!!!! I can barely afford to drive my Dodge Viper anymore....... Just kidding....I have a Chevy truck. Anyhow, I hope that the oil bigwigs are enjoying all our extra $$$$. Heres an idea: How about the feds suspend some of the taxes we pay on gas temporarily, until it goes back down to a predetermined level? Just a thought...-DD Out
MsChief
Here in Middle TN it was $2.40 yesterday for regular and $2.69 today! DickDanger .. that was really funny. "How about the feds suspend some of the taxes we pay on gas temporarily, until it goes back down to a predetermined level?" Wouldn't that be nice! Don't hold your breath! Just a thought...-DD Out You funny guy. They could at least spend it on the fucking roads like it was suppose to be when they started the fucking tax :veryangry: motherfucking roads aren't worth a shit and these assholes put the gas fucking tax in the general fund. Then they claim a need to raise taxes to pay for roads.

I remember about 4 months ago diesel was around 2 bucks then all of a sudden it costs more than gas , that is the unrefined gas, why would that be more expensive? Fugdbdt
With the hurricane - Oil could jump to $100 a barrel - Which is roughly $4.35 a gallon. I TOLD YOU to buy oil company stock as a hedge against gas prices last spring... Thanks, Danny

I TOLD YOU to buy oil company stock as a hedge against gas prices last spring... Thanks, Danny I think everyone is ripping us off... gas stations AND the oil companies. (A Scenario) When you pull into a gas station, he has two under ground tanks. Let's say each tank holds 1,000 gals of gas (for this scenario, octane rating is not necessary). With a total of 2,000 gals. I pull in and fill my truck that is bone empty. It takes twenty gallons of gas. I pay 2.50 per gallon. That night on the news they say gas is going up 10 cents per gallon. The next morning my wife pulls into the same gas station and pays 2.60 per gallon. WTF! They didn't pay an increase on the gas they already have... do they? So how the hell can they up the price at the pump so fast? Gas gouging....

Its taking me 10dollars plus to fill up the chief and she a gas guzzlers just giving me aprox 125 to 150 miles per tank full Vespa style type scoot sales are booming here in the Island, theres thousands of them and scooter outlets everywhere. We complain allright but weve been fortunate for years, Europe/Japan have been paying high for fuel for years . Ce La Vie

Rosie
$2.559 Last night in The Peoples Republik of San Antonio. in 1975, I was working at a Phillips 66 Station when the price for Full Service regular (Leaded!!) went to $.50 a gallon. I figured we would go out of business because no one would buy gas at that price. Ahhhh, the innocense of youth!

I could get her liquored up, smoke off a lid and run through a full tank of Sinclair on a Fort Smith summer night and still have pocket change from a twenty on the dresser in the morning. Did I think I had the world by the short hairs? Noooooo. Had to go sniffin around for greener pastures. Dumped the wheels, the squaw and the zipcode. Fuckin dummy. Seeking the Vision
We're paying record prices at the pump and the oil companies are posting record profits. Isn't it interesting that almost none of our congressman are questioning that? Maybe it's because they're heavily invested in oil stocks and are making a bundle. And the gas taxes that were suppose to go for highway repairs were instead used in Iraq. I hope they enjoy it.
