chief wahoo
found this interesting, guy on Ebay selling a 2003 roadmaster as a "collectors item" for a start price of $23,000.00 He clains its on of the last ones made with a manufacture date of December 2002? I thought they were manufacturing all the way to the end of 2003. If he can get his price for this "collectable" more power to him I guess. ebay auction - 2003 roadmaster

Fugdbdt
A guy at Hell's Kitchen offered me $25k for my Chief - I'm not selling - Nice guy - I've been trying to help him find another one. He's about a month too late to buy Skielty's... Thanks, Danny
chief wahoo
I'm certain there are better deals out there - In January, I paid $19,500 out the door for my new, untitled '03 roadmaster from a dealer in North Carolina. He included a battery tender, an indian polo and gloves, a two year extended warranty, a new battery and he trailered it over 1000 miles and delivered it to my garage. There was another at a local dealership, but they have a very bad reputation and wouldnt even come close to his pricing. He also showed me that his shop had completed all the upgrades and recalls on my bike. Where else do you find this level of customer service these days? homer
so whaoo, he rebuilt that engine? if so, that's an awesome deal..even if not that's a good deal--not great, but good for sure. anyways i got an answer: Thank for your interest, the engine is new.I don't understand why it would have to be rebuilt.GLENN do i enlighten him? eric
Y2K INDN
Danny I think I saw a few bikes including a Chief still left here at Saddleback Motorsport in Lake Forest. If hes lookin, they may have it.
chief wahoo
I don't believe my motor has been rebuilt, only had service recalls done (i/e starter relay). I've read where many members have had to have their motors rebuilt after some time, thats why I insisted on the 2 year extended warranty. I'd apprecaite any advice on when and how I can tell when my motor will require any service or rebuild. Thanks.

BuilderBoy
As quoted on his Ebay listing "This bike was one of the last Indians made"? IF you ponder for a monment, don't we all have one of the last Indians made? FFT BB
Potatopotato
Purdy bike for sure. I'll take it. Can't believe itz only got one mile on the speedo. Do they really come in at 745 lbs? My 01's weight is 650 lbs. With me on it...well forget it
homer
he dropped it from 23 to 18 starting bid... the vintges are 845 dry i think...i think the base chief is 745, but i'd gamble the roadmaster is in the 8's with the bags n stuff.. eric
