  1. Find a surgeon that does the tendon sparing technique. It will cut the pain and the recovery time. You will be glD you got it done.
  2. I mean... come on people... it looks like a snowmobile from the front. The engine looks like my Ingersall-rand air compressor. Big ass radiator. Squared off tanks and bags. Just hideous. Gut the design department and hire a team that understands form, style and art. God, this thing makes me have that sick feeling in my stomach every time I look at it. Polaris is whoring the brand. No other way to see it IMO.
  3. compared to anything pretty much. Show me ONE REDEEMING FACTOR. Something you think is great styling or flowing. Its a damn victory that never was. A Gold wing rides great too. Is this where everybody wants the brand to be? I think if the badge was anything other than Indian everybody would laugh. But because it wears our jersey the crowd chants the mantra.
  4. 10% reduction in sales doesn't equate ever widening customer base.. Where would sales be if you took the thousands of bikes sold to dealers out of the equation? Yes, that is how Polaris counts units.
  5. I aint hating just being real. These bikes have lots of problems. And Polaris is a terrible company to own a motorcycle company. They never got it. Never have. Never will. Just because you own something doesnt make it great.
  6. I don't think they are doing as well as some would believe or like to believe or as good as Polaris would like. Sales and profits are down. Double digits down. The whole motorcycle business is down. But this is a start up company. Stu will have to tell you what year of production they are in, but low sales and profit is NOT what they had in mind when they dropped large money on Indian. Maybe if they would try leading, and not copying every bike manufacturer out there..... but I'm just a redneck. Im am so disappointed in the direction Polaris is taking the brand. Damn pussy bikes.
  7. They just have more money. I dont like where the brand is st all. But that is my personal opinion. Worth exactly what you are paying for it. But there are facts. Polaris does not stand behind their products, have poor quality control and they have shitty customer service and zero relationship with the rider. Other than that, they are.....eh.... Victory with different badges and fenders. Well some have different fenders ...

  9. I stand by my assessment. Even if Polaris was rolling out earth shaking new bikes, they are doing a really shitty job as steward of the brand. Sorry to those that feel the need to defend a faceless, soulless corporation.
  10. Looks like a scout to me. Scout is an Indian version of the Victory Octane. So yeah, same old same old.
  11. Still nothing new from Polaris. Same pigs. Different lipstick.
  12. Dang you were that close to the barn ride and didnt stop on?
  13. Yep. People can fit right in with the HD crowd. Damn just buy a HD.
  14. Indian is morphing into HD (with a touch of Victory) right before our eyes. IMO, Polaris is doing a shitty job with the brand and exactly what I thought and predicted they would do. They are the Milli Vanilli of the motorcycle world. One of my best friends rides an Indian and doesn't even know it yet. I'll be damned.
  15. Still seemed a little weird to me. Evel was my hero as a kid. I guess I am a little over protective. Lol. But naming the show Evel LIVE? Little over the top.
  16. I have mixed feelings. Nice work on the jumps and a good marketing move on Indians part. Comparing Evels jumps to these is apples to oranges. The mixed part is... I hope Evels family is getting their share. I mean.... without Evel... well yall get my point. The exploitation of Evels name, look, image, and even his wardrobe was without remorse and unbridled. Lastly it takes Indian one step closer to being HD. By reading the forums on Facebook that is what most want. I concede gracefully but that isnt my Indian. But alas, that ship sailed the day the call came into the kings mountain factory f
  17. In a world where you have to have a leg up on competition and your product is basically identical to the behometh in the business, you have the use any angle you can. Polaris found this out the hard way with Victory. Making a good bike is not enough. Made in USA would sell Indians.
  18. Polaris would build the bikes in North Korea if it would mean more $$. They aren't building them in Iowa now out of loyalty to the US. They are doing it for credibility and bottom line. Problem for them is...we have a President with balls now. He will see to it that it is not financially wise to move production elsewhere and ship the bikes back here. However, Indian is such a small blip on the radar screen it probably wouldn't get his attention much. HD is a different story. Indian needs to seize this opportunity make the bikes 100% American made and tout that fact. BE THE ONLY TRUE AMERICA
  19. This is what we do at the Barn Ride. We purposely made it where we weren't all going in different directions and the entire event revolved about hanging out at the Barn. A forced interaction so to speak. It has worked well. I don't know what the set up is in Durango. It would be difficult to have that at a hotel unless there is a place to congregate for long periods of time. The extended face to face time is what makes it work. Also don't worry about getting large numbers of people to attend. Quality over quantity and people and friendship not machines or a bike ride. A lot of people like t
